Application of Magnesium Sulfate in printing and dyeing wastewater
Printing and dyeing wastewater is a kind of industrial wastewater which is very harmful to the environment. It has large emission, high chromaticity and difficult degradation of organic matter. It has brought great difficulties to wastewater treatment. It is difficult to use conventional treatment methods to reach the standard. Therefore, it is necessary to seek a convenient and inexpensive method for decolorizing printing and dyeing wastewater. In recent years, it is open at home and abroad. The study of magnesium salt method has been developed. Its decolorization principle is that magnesium salt and alkaline hydrolysis produce positive charged magnesium hydroxide, which strongly adsorbs anion dye with negative charge and decolorizing dye wastewater. Using Magnesium Sulfate to treat acid dye wastewater, the effect is better. After treatment, the chroma reaches 99%. Magnesium salt method can effectively remove water-soluble acid dyes. Under suitable conditions, the decolorization rate can reach more than 98%.
