Risk term
Hazard identification:
Storage and transport properties
Transportation precautions: the packing should be complete and the loading should be safe. During transportation, ensure that containers do not leak, collapse, fall, or damage. It is forbidden to mix with oxidizer and edible chemicals. During transportation, it should be protected from sun exposure, rain and high temperature. Vehicles should be thoroughly cleaned after transportation. When transporting by road, drive on the prescribed route.
Operation, disposal and storage
Operation precautions: closed operation, local exhaust. Prevent dust from being released into the workplace air. Operators must be specially trained and strictly abide by the operating procedures. It is recommended that the operator wear a self-priming filter dust mask, chemical safety glasses, protective clothing and rubber gloves. Avoid dust generation. Avoid contact with oxidants. Equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment. Empty containers may contain hazardous materials.
Storage precautions: Store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat source. Keep out of direct sunlight. Packing sealed. Should be stored separately from the oxidant, do not mix storage. The storage area shall be equipped with suitable materials to accommodate leaks.
Waste disposal method: dispose by safe burial method. If possible, reuse containers or bury them in designated areas.
First aid measures
Skin contact: take off contaminated clothing and rinse with running water.
Eye contact: lift eyelid, rinse with running water or normal saline.
Inhalation: Remove quickly from the scene to fresh air. Keep airway open. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If breathing stops, give artificial respiration immediately.
Eat: drink enough warm water to induce vomiting.
Fire control measures
Dangerous properties: does not burn itself. The release of toxic gases by high thermal decomposition.
Harmful combustion products: sulfur oxide, magnesium oxide.
Fire fighting method: fire fighters must wear full body fire prevention and gas protective clothing, fire fighting in the upwind. When extinguishing a fire, move the container from the fire site to an open area as far as possible. Then choose the appropriate extinguishing agent according to the cause of fire.
Emergency treatment
Isolate contaminated areas and restrict access. It is recommended that emergency personnel wear dust masks and general work clothes. Do not contact the spill directly. Small amount of leakage: avoid dust, carefully sweep up, collect and transport to the waste treatment site for disposal. Mass leakage: collect, recycle or transport to waste treatment site for disposal.
